CO-FOUNDER/CONTENT DIRECTOR
Emily Jensen is an author, a podcaster, and the cofounder and content director of the Risen Motherhood ministry. She is the coauthor of Risen Motherhood: Gospel Hope for Everyday Moments and the author of He Is Strong: Devotions for When You Feel Weak. Emily lives in central Iowa with her husband and their five children.

CO-FOUNDER/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
is the cofounder and executive director of Risen Motherhood. She cohosts the popular Risen Motherhood podcast and is coauthor of the best-selling book of the same name. She is author of the best-selling, award-winning children’s book Any Time, Any Place, Any Prayer, as well as Like Me: A Story About Disability and Discovering God’s Image in Every Person. Laura, her husband, and her three children live in central Iowa.

BUSINESS DIRECTOR
As the first unofficial team member and fellow sister-in-law with Emily and Laura, Becca has been instrumental in the inner workings of R|M from the very beginning. She’s the lynchpin of our leadership team, managing all of our budgets, bills, and legalities, as well as providing administrative support and general ministry oversight. Her wisdom, discernment, and encouragement have been a huge asset and blessing to every member of our team!

LEAD DESIGNER

You won’t find a sweeter soul than Kaitlin, our resident aesthetics expert. She came on as the first paid team member back in 2017 and has been sprinkling her fairy dust on our design ever since. Kaitlin oversees all our visual content—from social media posts to website pages to printable resources to R|M merch—ensuring that everything serves our community and represents our brand well. She makes us look beautiful!

PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER

Serving R|M for over six years now, Amanda is our chief liaison with donors, sponsors, and other outside ministry partners. She is also our queen of travel and event logistics (and can make a mean conference spreadsheet). Additionally, she’s masterminded our fan-favorite R|M Shop from the very first one back in 2018. We’re so thankful for her care and conscientiousness!

EDITOR
Annie is everyone’s dream editor, and we praise the Lord every day that we get to call her our own! Her eagle eye never overlooks a misplaced comma or spelling error, and she’s our go-to for all things writing and editing. But more than this, she’s brought all of us to tears with her words time and again over her past four years as editor—from newsletter notes to articles, we never want to stop reading her beautiful takes on the gospel in everyday motherhood.

MARKETING & OPERATIONS MANANGER
Affectionately known as our “Team Mom,” Jordan handles all the day-to-day workings of R|M with efficiency and expertise. She joined the team in 2021 and oversees all our marketing initiatives, from copywriting to email campaigns to podcast series and book promos. Jordan also spearheads our newsletters and donor reports. Her organizational and administrative skills are out of this world, and we would all be lost without her!

DIGITAL STRATEGIST
Rylee lays the welcome mat at R|M’s front door—responding to emails and DMs with warmth and a heart to serve. She’s the brain behind our reels and social media initiatives, continually innovating new ways to care for our community well. Additionally, Rylee programs all our articles, show notes, and podcast episodes. She’s been a beloved member of our team since late 2021, always blessing us with her kindness and humility!

Melissa B. Kruger is vice president of discipleship programming at The Gospel Coalition and author of multiple books, including Parenting with Hope, Growing Together, Walking with God in the Season of Motherhood, and the popular children’s book Wherever You Go, I Want You to Know. Her husband, Mike, is the president of Reformed Theological Seminary, and they reside with their three children in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ruth Chou Simons is a Wall Street Journal bestselling and award-winning author of several books and Bible studies, including Now and Not Yet, GraceLaced, Beholding and Becoming, When Strivings Cease, and TruthFilled. She is an artist, entrepreneur, podcaster, and speaker, using each of these platforms to sow the Word of God into people’s hearts. Through social media, and her online shoppe at GraceLaced.com, Simons shares her journey of God’s grace intersecting daily life with word and art. Ruth and her husband, Troy, are grateful parents to six boys—their greatest adventure.

Karen Hodge serves as the coordinator for PCA women’s ministry, where she connects women and churches to one another and to sound resources. She serves alongside her husband and pastor, Chris, at Village Seven Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs. Chris and Karen have two adult children, Anna and Haddon. She is the host of the enCourage podcast and, along with Susan Hunt, authored Transformed: Life-Taker to Life-Giver and Life-Giving Leadership.

Quina Aragon is an author and spoken-word artist. She and her husband, Jon, reside with their daughter in Florida. Her first two children’s books, Love Made and Love Gave, poetically retell the story of creation and good news of Jesus Christ through a Trinitarian lens of overflowing love. Her latest children’s book, Love Can, uses the same lens and lyrical style to introduce kids to the Holy Spirit’s superpower work of love.

Mary Kassian is an award-winning author and Bible Teacher who speaks to women around the world about living out their faith and especially what it means to be a woman according to God’s design. She has published several books and Bible Studies including Girls Gone Wise and The Right Kind of Strong. Mary and her family reside in Canada.

Kristie Anyabwile is the author of Literarily: How Understanding Bible Genres Transforms Bible Study and editor of His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God. She is a speaker and Bible teacher and a founding member of a women’s theology organization called the Pelican Project. She disciples and teaches women at Anacostia River Church in Washington, DC where her husband is senior pastor. They have three children.

Stacy is the blessed wife of pastor Michael for nearly 35 years, a proud mother to three children, and a grandmother to two. Excited about her faith, Stacy enjoys being involved in women’s ministry and living life together with church members. Alongside her personal life, Stacy is the Corporate Administrator for a property management company in Ames, Iowa. For over a decade she has enjoyed working with and mutually encouraging the team at her company. In her free time, she cherishes spending time with family, reading, and watching her and her husband's favorite movies!
