There’s a lot to fear in this world.
But let’s fear God more.

What’s so scary about our fears, is the fact that so many of them could come true.

As moms, most of our fears revolve around our children and families. We want to protect our kids and give them the best life we possibly can. But sometimes even our best efforts fall flat, and our fears become reality or the idea of them looms so large, it begins to control our heart and actions.

In this new mini-series we’re asking the question: When life gets scary, what truth will win in your heart? What truth will ultimately triumph? Because God isn’t asking us to “never fear again,” he’s asking us to fear him more.

Consider this page your one-stop shop for all things Fear-series related. We have recommended articles, books, and a place to sign-up for the FREE content we’re giving you to help you fight your fears along with us. We’ll also include links to every episode and show notes as each episode drops. Our fears may be mighty, but we want to fight the battle to fear God more.

Let’s be moms who fear the Lord.

We've rounded up a collection of thought-provoking and encouraging books on the topic of fear. While we think they're helpful to think through as you battle your own fears, the RM team does not necessarily agree with or endorse every opinion in these pieces, and they are not always a reflection of our own processes with fear. Our hope is that they spark good conversation with people in your life and prompt you as you think through your struggle with fear.

Note: We know that “fear” covers a wide variety of issues—some so lighthearted that we can easily brush them off, and some so disturbing that we can barely utter them to our closest friend. This series is aimed at the most common fears in motherhood—the things that cross our minds and motivate our daily actions. But due to the limitations of our knowledge and the brevity of 7-episode series we don’t aim to address life’s most complex and sober terrors. Please keep in mind that some instances and experiences of fear may require professional counseling, pastoral care, or a medical doctor. If you find yourself in a situation that feels much larger than the topics we cover in this series, we encourage you to seek help from professionals who are trained to care for you best in this struggle.
